By uploading a file or paying for a download you agree to these Terms.
SourceBack converts a file you upload (e.g. a PDF, or an image) into an editable source file (e.g. InDesign IDML, PowerPoint, Word, SVG, or a font) and lets you preview the result before paying. The conversion is automated and deterministic — there is no human review of your files and no manual editing.

payment completes. By buying, you request immediate supply of that digital content and acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law once the download is made available to you.
quality before buying, sales are final — except where required by law, or where a download was charged but never delivered due to a fault on our side, in which case contact us and we will refund it.
Credits do not expire. Keep the token safe — anyone with it can spend the credits, and we cannot recover a lost token.

produce and preview your output, and to store the result briefly so you can download it. See the Privacy Policy for retention (files and outputs auto-delete within 12 hours) and our commitment never to reuse your content.
(you own it or are licensed to). You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you are not permitted to process.
Don't: break the law; upload malware or attempt to attack, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service; bypass usage/rate limits; resell or white-label the service without our written permission; or upload others' confidential or personal data without a lawful basis. We may rate-limit, refuse, or block use to protect the service.
Conversion quality depends on the input. SourceBack shows a confidence/fidelity signal and preview so you can judge before paying, and clearly declines files it can't recover (e.g. flat scans). Beyond that, output is provided "as is": we don't warrant it will be pixel-perfect, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Fonts are referenced by name, not embedded — install the originals for an exact match. Check every output before relying on it.
We aim to keep the service available but provide it without uptime guarantees, and may change, suspend, or withdraw features. It may be unavailable for maintenance.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury from negligence, or fraud), and nothing here affects the statutory rights of consumers. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profit, or goodwill; and our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms; the current version is always at this URL and applies to new uploads/purchases. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Bulgarian courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you reside. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
