SourceBack converts a file you upload (e.g. a PDF, or an image) into an editable source file (e.g. InDesign IDML, PowerPoint, Word, SVG, or a font) and lets you preview the result before paying. The conversion is automated and deterministic — there is no human review of your files and no manual editing.

Conversion quality depends on the input. SourceBack shows a confidence/fidelity signal and preview so you can judge before paying, and clearly declines files it can't recover (e.g. flat scans). Beyond that, output is provided "as is": we don't warrant it will be pixel-perfect, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Fonts are referenced by name, not embedded — install the originals for an exact match. Check every output before relying on it.
We aim to keep the service available but provide it without uptime guarantees, and may change, suspend, or withdraw features. It may be unavailable for maintenance.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury from negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profit, or goodwill; and our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of [£50] or the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim.
